Claire Dowe
Neurodevelopmental Specialist
Claire graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from Canterbury Christ Church University College in 2000.
She spent her first 9 years working in a range of adult and young person's in-patient and community teams, before moving to a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team (CAMHS). During this time Claire developed a special interest in working with children and young people presenting with neuro-diversity and went on to complete her training as a Sensory Integration (SI) Practitioner in 2016.
To further develop these skills Claire worked in a SI specialist service from 2018 for around 4 years and completed further training in Sensory Attachment Intervention (SAI), before returning to the NHS to join a Paediatric Neurodevelopmental assessment team from 2022.
